Google Apps for your Domain…SUCKS! for now.

Been using it for a few months.  While in general I love the concept, the reliability of the mail servers and the POP access has been horrendous.  Several times/week I get server time out messages, or just notice mail lingering in my outbox that I thought was already sent.  I’m sure Google will solve this when they feel it is cutting into their ad revenue, but until then, I remain unimpressed.

    I’ve been using it a fair bit for the past few months. While there are occasional annoying outages I’ve found it was alright. But then I don’t use POP.

    When the Goog does not work, it really sucks because although the machine does no evil, it is hard to get past the machine and reach an operator.

    Completely agree, 5mo later. Just tried to cut over one mail account… it is now “locked for 24 hrs”. Ghetto.
